Big Willy’s has 2 bars, 2 dance floors, a multitude of screens, including 2 giant outdoor screens, for the sports lovers and our restaurant can sit over 50 people at once.

Le Whatever

Medium Rare

Situated in Ruisseau Créole, Medium Rare Steakhouse, was a long time dream of Chef and owner Gerard Samouilhan, who had spent 20 years in the industry in South Africa. The concept is to create a fun and friendly family atmosphere with top quality food, wine & service.

Kaz A’Pain

La Kaz A’Pain

This little restaurant is a great spot for a quick breakfast or coffee date. The friendly staff and delicious bread and bakes make every visit worth while.

Food trucks

Food trucks

Each beach has got a few local food trucks waiting to serve hungry beach goers. Although we have not tried them all, the few we have had, have been excellent. Noodles and Panini’s are the usual choice but some of them sell curries and other traditional meals. The noodle bar on the Tamarin beach on Saturdays is our personal favourite.

Vida E Cafe

Vida E Cafe

A South African favourite in the heart of black river. Vida serves up some of the best coffee on the island (and freshly squeezed orange juice for those who want something cooler). Their take away snacks make great picnic additions and they have free Wi-Fi so you can catch up online over a cuppa.

Enzo

Enso

Restaurant Enso is situated in La Gaulette. Great spot for drinks and a meal after a long day kite surfing. They have a “brag” wall featuring local kite surf hero’s who you will probably bump into over drinks in Enso.
